District 11 referendum

Thanked City Manager Sheridan for quickly fixing a trip hazard on Gazebo Green, then urged Council to rescind District 11 and redo zoning through proper channels, saying residents will keep protesting otherwise.

Called the 50-acre planned development allowance an existential threat to downtown and asked Council to let voters decide whether they want a Pinecrest-style development; noted the 35% signature threshold is a steep hurdle.

Said no one she collected signatures from knew about the District 11 change; urged Council to rescind it and restore District 8 zoning, warning the developer could restore large-scale residential and commercial through a planned development.
